Recipe: Easy banana bread

My banana bread from last night! Delicious!
Last night I had the urge to make something warm and delicious and somewhat healthy...so I opted to make some fresh banana bread. I came up with my own recipe (to some extent) and decided to go with it and see how it turned out. To my surprise, it was fabulous and mouth watering. My boyfriend loved it and it was great to have for breakfast this morning as well!

To make this bread all you need are 3 ingredients..Trader Joes Banana Bread Mix, 2 fresh bananas & some cinnamon sugar. Now really you only need the Trader Joes Mix if you want simple (kinda dry) banana bread. However, adding the 2 fresh bananas along with some extra cinnamon sugar makes it more dense and gives it a richer taste.

To make this is very simple! Start out making the Trader Joes Banana Bread Mix and go ahead and preheat oven to 325. Next peel the bananas and put them in a microwave safe dish. Microwave them for about 30 seconds to get them nice and soft. Take a fork and mush them into a sauce like mixture and add it to the banana bread mix. Finally add about 2 tablespoons of cinnamon sugar and stir it well! Spray your baking dish, add the bread mixture, place it in oven and ba-da-bing.. you are finished!

This is something I am going to make more often, and would be a great side dessert for a baby shower or Sunday brunch with family. You can typically add fresh fruit to most breads or cobblers along with a healthy pre-made mix to give your food a little more substance and flavor!
